Hell, you can mute the video if you want, although I wouldn't advise it (that's actually how I watched the video the first time since I was at work). Regardless, check out this video. I'm going to go ahead and preemptively answer some of the questions you will likely have about the video while not revealing too much of its contents. Yes, it is a one shot sequence. Yes, the members of OK Go had help. Caltech scientists, MIT Media Lab, plus about 55 to 60 people from Syyn Labs (including some folks who worked on the NASA Mars Exploration Rover program) helped the band design and build the contraption. The video took about 60 takes for the machine to function properly with it taking 30 people up to an hour to reset it. It took 6 months, from concept to finish, to complete the video (two months of planning plus four months of design and filming). Get excited. Science rocks. Enjoy!
